Catching up

For a man who prides himself on his time management skills, my life has been messy of late. Posting has been light while I straightened things out. Real Life duties are now more or less under control. Over a holiday weekend in Russia, I am now catching up on my online obligations.

Blogpower Express, the site I maintain for the Blogpower bloggers cooperative had become badly out of date. I spend much of yesterday sorting it out. It's a good place quickly to survey the range and quality of the Blogpower blogs. Please take a look so my hours of work will not be in vain.

Today I have posted a long-promised piece at Nourishing Obscurity, the online home of Blogpower's wise and humane founder, James Higham (currently going through an eccentric phase of changing his nom de blog almost daily, so don't be fooled by that not being the name under the link). James, and fellow Blogpowerer Steve of Pub Philosopher are nominated in the "Best UK Blog" category of the 2007 Weblog Awards. Please go vote for one or other of them, if only because the unutterably crap Neil Clark (dear God, who nominated him?!) is currently ahead of them. You can cast one vote daily until the ballot closes, so vote for each of our chaps on alternate days!

While you are over at the site for the blogging Oscars, do also stop by the Funniest Blog category and cast your vote for US Blogpower member Jon Swift, who is well worthy of that award.

There. I am up to date. Normal ranting will now resume.

Thanks, Tom. I took the liberty of adding two pics and an intro. Great pageflakes too.

From time to time I will upload photos of Russia and in particular my "home town", Moscow. It is an amazing city, more New York than Paris, but beautiful at times in an anarchic way. You can't have so many people living in one place without interesting things happening.
