LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Dear Editor,

Having had such a lovely time at the BBB2B, I have collected some memories in a 'musical photo-album' ~ I am sending you this for your consideration in the hope that you, your readers and friends may like to look back at the wonderful event and it brings back some nice memories for you.

I was so impressed with the efforts of the whole team to make this second anniversary such a wonderful event in such a beautiful environment and the separate events within, with the music, artists, exhibition, workshops, tours, guests and visitors ~ I just had to make a memory-collection to always be able to go back to. Here is the very short video slideshow.

Hope you enjoy ~ Thank you again for all your efforts! It was marvelous!

H.E. YUKIKO ON LAB GAB

Yukiko Yeshto, Bellisseria's Hon. Ambassador to Sansara appeared with Soull Starlight on SL talk show Lab Gab. They gave Strawberry Linden a tour of the Eatonville Living History Museum in Corsica (a BBB stamp location) after discussing other projects they are working on, especially those in connection with Black History Month 2022.

The show premiered at 11am SLT yesterday.

EQUESTRIAN TOUR

Poster_mainland_tour_moorcroftMoorcroft is an equestrian community in East Sansara. Over the last few months, more land was acquired, and more competitive events established. In collaboration with the Bellisserian Embassy to Sansara, you're invited to visit Moorcroft to explore the village and nearby scenery on horseback, followed by a tour around the eventing area to learn more about the various events. You will even be able to try jumping and racing!

Those who would like the full immersive experience are invited to join the tour at 11:30am SLT for a bus ride from the embassy to Moorcroft Feed & Seed Farm Supply for the official start at 12pm SLT. Don't forget to bring your passports because Moorcroft has a stamp terminal now, too!

You can either bring your own horse, or be provided with one on location. Please remember to prepare a travel outfit with all unnecessary scripts and attachments removed to avoid region crossing issues.

NEW LOCATIONS

We have an interesting selection of new places to explore this week. Moorcroft features above and needs nothing added here. Suffice it to say it's a good place to bring out your trusty steed from inventory for a pleasant hack.

The second location is the charming café at the newly-relocated art gallery of our very own bureaucrat AmandaT Tamatzui (the SL avatar of New Zealand artist Amanda Tomasoa). It's situated on Route 12 in Nautilus (of which more later).

Our third new location is Gateway to the Mainland, an information centre for Bellisserians thinking about relocating (or expanding) to the other Mainland continents of SL. There is a lot of useful information for SL residents there, wherever they may live. If you are new to SL, you could do a lot worse than pick up all the notecards and maps. Your Editor has been in SL for fifteen years this week yet still managed to learn a few things.

Our old friend Cranston Yordstorm has a new stamp location in his whimsical CheddarWorx builds. This is one of your editor's favourite places in SL at the moment. The railways there are great (with some implausible gradients for such small locos to tackle) and there's a great roller-coaster too. Inside Cranston's head must be an interesting place. His SL builds give you a flavour of that! In his usual style, the stamp terminal is not near the landing spot. You'll need to ride the train to find it – and be alert to grab it as you go by – the train doesn't stop nearby!

Finally we have an interesting new LDPW location. Route 12 in Nautilus traverses that continent but unlike other SL highways does not end where the tarmac runs out. The Moles built a hiking trail that continues into places the highway couldn't reach. If you want a flavour of the at-times-delightful anarchy that is Mainland, lace up your hiking boots (or pick up a mountain bike from a nearby rezzer) and go explore.
